Natalie began her yoga journey while pursuing her B.S. in Exercise Science and cheerleading at Eastern Kentucky University. She quickly discovered the positive impact yoga made in her life which prompted her decision to attend a 200 hour yoga teacher training at The Om Place in Kentucky. Her certification process helped her develop a much deeper devotion for yoga. Since becoming certified, Natalie has hosted yoga classes in many different environments for all ages, abilities and fitness levels. Natalie has lived in multiple countries and traveled the world where she cultivated the belief that we are all connected. Through yoga, Natalie wishes to help individuals learn about themselves, heal, feel good, and develop a deeper love for life. She feels yoga is for everyone as it provides a safe place to discover themselves. The beaches and warmth of SWFL is what drew Natalie to live in this beautiful community.
What brought you to yoga?
I was captivated by curiosity of the natural healing benefits yoga brings to the mind and body. I have always been very active and knew I needed something to help balance out my body from all of the activities.
Why did you start teaching?
Yoga changed every aspect of my life for the better; from balancing out my body's tight areas and strengthening the weak muscles to becoming more calm and being present. After practicing yoga as a student, I knew my passion was ignited to share the gift with others! I was already a group fitness instructor and personal trainer where I loved helping individuals. So, I set my mission to spread the love and feels of yoga to others.
